You're Sublime

Happy Saturday!

You all know I can't resist a good fruit stamp or die...but now I need to add fruit stencils to my list! This one is from A Colorful Life Designs. I will link it below for you. It is a small stencil with four lemons/limes in a column. I cut one away and just stenciled until I had my panel filled.

To finish my card I added the images from the Orange You Sweet stamp set from Concord and 9th. It is retired, but I found it for you and linked it below.

Color Throwdown Challenge #564 - Forever Grateful

Happy Saturday!

Here is my card for the current Color Throwdown challenge based on this beautiful color palette which includes red, yellow and brown

I used stencils from A Colorful Life Designs and just started inking using red, yellow and brown inks from Gina K. Designs. The sentiment is from Gina K. as well. We just returned from a trip to Missouri and I was so inspired by the beautiful leaf colors there. I just had to make a card with leaves!

Congrats

Happy Friday!

Earlier this week we were able to surprise some friends who live in Missouri. Bryan was one of our pastors and his wife Sara is the most wonderful friend. They have three boys and a little girl who is on her way.

We showed up at Life Church Springfield on Sunday morning and had a wonderful reunion with this couple whom we love so much.

I knew Sara had already been given a baby shower, so I just wanted to show our love for them with a card and a gift card. That way she can supplement all of the sweet girl outfits with whatever else she needs.

Our hearts are full after seeing them again. I hope you have dear friends like this too!

I Love Your Kindness

Happy Friday!

Last summer I discovered a new (to me) company called A Colorful Life. They make the most beautiful and unique stencils and I am totally hooked. I used the Leaf Sprigs stencil for my background using two shades of Gina K. Designs ink.

To finish my card I used sentiments from Altenew. The  Everything About You stamp set covers just about any sentiment you could imagine! I didn't add anything else to my card because it was so sweet and simple on its own - elegant if you will.
