Make the Cards Challenge #17 - You Did It

Happy Monday!

This week we have a beautiful color challenge at Make the Cards Challenge. Color challenges are just so much fun and I think you will want to play along.

This card is going in the mail to a friend who is completing her senior year in high school and will be graduated this next week. I love the little bit of dimension in the sentiment.

You can share your cards here to add your entry to our challenge for your chance to be selected as our featured creator! Use #mtcc17 and #makethecardschallenge hashtags on your card projects when you post them on social media or in public forums and galleries.

Also be sure to check out all the inspiration from our design team right here.

Have a terrific day and I'll see you again tomorrow.

Walking in a Winter Wonderaland

Happy Sunday!

I am using this stamp again from Impression Obsession called Sketched Trees This time I stamped it using just black ink over a blended background.

I used slimline dies from Kat Scrappiness for my panel and my pinked border and my sentiment is from Taylored Expressions. I'll go ahead and link everything below for you.

Have a great day and I'll see you again tomorrow.

'Tis the Season to be Jolly

Happy Tuesday!

Have I ever told you I have a thing for Christmas trees? Not only physical ones...but stamps too. I've rarely met a Christmas tree stamp that I didn't love! So here is my question...how could I resist a stamp set that is ALL Christmas trees? I couldn't!!

This stamp is called Sketched Trees and is from Impression Obsession. I stamped it using rainbow colors first and then went over all the trees with Versmark and clear embossing powder. So these trees really shine in the light!

I used slimline dies from Kat Scrappiness for my panel and my pinked border. My sentiment is from Taylored Expressions. Oh, and my rainbow inks are from Concord and 9th. I'll go ahead and link everything below for you.

Have a great day and I'll see you again tomorrow.

Here is my card for this week's Color Throwdown challenge. My card is based on this yummy inspiration photo which includes green, brown, orange and red:

The little rainbow snowman from Impression Obsession just steals my heart every time I look at him. And although most rainbows do NOT include brown, mine does!

Color Throwdown Challenge #616 - Autumn Blessings

Happy Wednesday!

Here is my card for this week's Color Throwdown challenge. My card is based on this pretty inspiration photo which includes kraft, cream and cranberry:

I stamped my focal image which is from Impression Obsession and then colored it with Copic markers. I knew I wanted a small raised panel on my card, so I chose the Autumn Blessings sentiment from MFT Stamps as it fit perfectly. I think this is truly my style - clean and simple. But I do like to create out of the box too. It's a fun mix for me and I never know what I'll choose from day to day!

You can join in the fun at Color Throwdown too if you would like! You have plenty of time to play along. You will find the rules and the link to add your creation at the Color Throwdown website.

See you again tomorrow!

I've been waiting to use this beautiful stamp from Impression Obsession and today's the day! It stamps the most beautiful dahlia with a Pointillism vibe. I can't wait to stamp it in a variety of colors!

You can join in the fun at Color Throwdown too if you would like! This is just the first day, so you have plenty of time to play along. You will find the rules and the link to add your creation at the Color Throwdown website.

Impression Obsession has been so kind to offer free digis for us to use. And I think they are all so encouraging and positive. I am going to link to this one, but there are five pages of them, so maybe you will find one or two that you want to color!

Have a bright and fun-filled day and I'll see you again tomorrow!

How to Color Your Hair When Quarantined

Happy Thursday!

I don't know about you, but this quarantine hair thing has gotten out of hand at my house. I don't color my hair, but I do wear it very short. And it is cut for one style only!

Needless to say, I no longer have a style. I just have a lot of hair that looks terrible! But since I am not going anywhere, I guess I can last a little longer!

Have a great day and I'll see you again tomorrow.
