Big Hugs

Happy Tuesday!

And I am sending some big hugs to you too! I wanted to showcase a few of the products from the Picket Fence Studios January release today.

To make my card I used the Slimline Basket Petals stencil, the Big Hugs stand alone die and some of the flowers from the Que Sera, Sera stamp and die set. I absolutely LOVE how this came together. I added burlap paper behind my stenciled layer for some texture. It was a last minute choice and I think it's a fun juxtaposition.

Have a marvelous day and I'll see you again tomorrow!

You are Not Alone

Happy Monday!

Today's card is for a friend who needs just a bit of cheering up. The background is a napkin which I adhered to card stock and then die cut. I used this postage stamp die from my collection, but I do not know who makes it.

I used an embossed heart die set from Concord and 9th and also a sentiment strip from Taylored Expressions to finish my card.

I'll be back tomorrow and I'll see you then.

Color Hues Challenge #10 - You are my Ride or Die

Happy Sunday!

Today I am joining in the fun at the Color Hues blog for their newest challenge which is to use navy and cream. What a fun combo!

My focal point is from the brand new Picture Perfect stamp and die set from Reverse Confetti. I printed my sentiment separately from a cut file I found online.

Have a terrific day and I'll see you again tomorrow!

Missing You More Every Day

Happy Saturday!

Today's card was made with a really old layering stencil set before layering stencil sets came into style with a much improved quality.

But there it was in my stash and for some crazy reason I thought I should fool with it. And so I did. And so there you are. I did use a sweet little sentiment from Pretty Pink Posh and inks from Pink Fresh Studio.

You won't be seeing this stencil set again...but it was fun using something from the past! I'll be back tomorrow and I'll see you then.

I'm So Glad We Found Each Other

Happy Friday!

I am still crushing on the new Picket Fence Studios January release. Nicole is such an amazing designer - always coming out with innovative stamps like this one which I could not love more!

I used this stamp for my sentiment because they go together so perfectly:

I linked all of the supplies I used below in case you want to take a closer look. Have a great day and I'll see you again tomorrow.

Picket Fence Studios January Release is Live!

Happy Thursday!

And happy release day for our brand new Picket Fence Studios January products!

I've been making birthday themed cards and tags in preparation for all of the special birthdays coming up in 2021. So today I have both a card and a tag to share with you.

Both of my projects feature a type of stamp that is unique to Picket Fence Studios. The stamps are 4x4, but they can be continued on all 4 sides, which makes them perfect for not only cards, but home decor, scrapbook layouts, party decor and more I can't even think of right now! And they are so easy to line up.

The two stamps I used today are Roses for all Seasons and This Dog is for You. I absolutely love this type of stamp because there is no limit (literally) to how they can be used.

I've linked below the products I used today...so happy shopping! To see the whole release, you can click right here. I'll be back tomorrow and I'll see you then!

Color Throwdown Challenge #625 - Thanks

Happy Wednesday!

Here is my card for this week's Color Throwdown challenge. This is my very first time as hostess so I hope I don't screw it up!

This week's colors are based on this inspiration photo and are blue, pink and green:

I drew my images with my Cricut Maker and colored them with Copic markers. I added the thanks sentiment which is from Simon Says Stamp. I wanted the color to match perfectly, so I just scribbled some of my pink marker onto white card stock and then die cut the sentiment.

Be sure to stop by to see all the inspiration from the design team. You can join in the fun at Color Throwdown too if you would like! You have plenty of time to play along. You will find the rules and the link to add your creation at the Color Throwdown website.

See you again tomorrow!

You're So Kind

Happy Tuesday!

How about a bright and cheerful card using another new stencil from the January release at A Colorful Life Designs? This stencil is called Delicate Flowers and it is just so feminine!

I tried to vary the intensity of my flowers and leaves to add some interest and I do like how it all came together!

I've linked the products I used below in case you are in a shopping mood!

Have a terrific Tuesday and I'll see you again tomorrow.

You've Been on My Mind

 Happy Monday!

Just a quick card to share with you today. I drew this image with my Cricut Maker and then gave it some life with Copic markers. They are always my go to medium, although I still try others as well.

I added the sentiment strip from Taylored Expressions and I really like how it turned out.

Have a great start to the week and I'll see you again tomorrow.

You Are So Beautiful

Happy Saturday!

Today I am using a layering stencil from A Colorful Life Designs. Here is a look at the Layered Leopard Stencil set:

This is a 6x9 stencil set, so it is easy to use when making slim line cards which are so popular now. I may have a leopard print shirt and some leopard print Chuck Taylor All Stars, so this was an easy pick for me! Who wouldn't want a leopard print card?

Have a fantastic day and I'll see you again tomorrow.

In a World Where You can be Anything...Be Kind

Happy Friday!

Today I took a break from my usual card making to finish up a few projects and I also started working on my tiered tray decor for my front porch. At Christmastime I used pink, aqua and mint for my table on my porch. I decided to continue with those colors plus some red for Valentine's Day.

My sign is actually made with a napkin and a wooden box. The flowers and gems are from my stash and that ribbon is a Dollar Tree find. I also worked on a second napkinized sign today which I will show you soon. It is much more bold and brings in the red.

I will have a new card project for you tomorrow, so I'll see you then.

Loves Me, Loves Me Not

Happy Thursday!

Yet another Valentine - I am on a roll!

I made this card with my Cricut Maker. It has three layers that form this fun card front. I used glitter paper, holographic vinyl and then the white card stock. The Cricut even drew the design on the front. I call that a WIN!

Have a wonderful day and I'll see you again tomorrow.

Color Throwdown Challenge #624 - I Love You

Happy Wednesday!

Here is my card for this week's Color Throwdown challenge. I am so very excited to now be on the CTD team. I have hoped for this for so many years and I can hardly believe my wish has come true!

I could hardly wait to create something based on this inspiration photo which includes rust, cream and brown:

I used the Vintage Type stamp set from The Ton for my focal image. I wanted this to be a valentine, so I used the Heart Stream stencil from A Colorful Life Designs to add my hearts which are flying off the typed page! For a final touch I added the tablecloth using a stamp set from The Inkblot Shop called Get Grounded. It took me a few tries to get that typewriter looking good, but I'm glad I made the effort.

Be sure to stop by to see all the inspiration from the design team. You can join in the fun at Color Throwdown too if you would like! You have plenty of time to play along. You will find the rules and the link to add your creation at the Color Throwdown website.

I Love Us

Happy Tuesday!

Today I am using another stencil from A Colorful Life Designs. This one is called the Notre-Dame Swirl stencil. Here is a look:

I love that you don't have to use any stencil just "as is". I used various portions of this one to create a slim line card in a pink champagne color scheme. I didn't want to hide the beauty of the soft swirls, so I used a simple stacked glittery sentiment cut with my Cricut Maker. Sometimes the background just needs to be the star of the show and that is the beauty of stencils.

Have a lovely day and I'll see you again tomorrow.

HB2U - Killing It Per Usual

Happy Monday!

It's the new year and cause for celebration for certain. So let's celebrate with some cake - albeit birthday cake...

This cake is one of my favorite images and it is a breeze to color in any color scheme. This time I chose yellow and decided to put this pretty cake on a matching checked tablecloth. I was able to make this a slim line card by adding the sentiments strategically and using our Slim Line Die Cutting System.

I used quite a few stamp sets for this card, but it came together easily. I linked them all below in case you are in a shopping mood.

Have a wonderful day and I'll see you again tomorrow!

Today I am joining in the fun at the Color Hues blog for their newest challenge which is to use red and grey. This combination is truly one of my favorites.

I used some stamps and dies which I have listed below from The Greetery. I have been waiting to use this set until Christmas had passed and this was the perfect time!

Have a terrific day and I'll see you again tomorrow!

XOXO Hugs and Kisses

Happy Saturday!

I thought it would be fun to continue the rainbow theme from yesterday with another super stencil set from A Colorful Life Designs. This one is called Marvelous Masks Scalloped Hearts. It has four layers and eight pieces in this set because you get both the positive and negative of this design.

I used Iron On Glitter Vinyl and a cut file from Cricut Design Space for my XOXO. The smaller sentiment is from the Little Love Notes stamp set from MFT Stamps.

Have a marvelous day and I'll see you again tomorrow.

Your Strength is Inspiring

Happy New Year's Eve!

Why don't we close out this year with some bright colors and let's face it, if you made it through 2020, your strength IS inspiring!

My holographic vinyl feathers are from Cricut Design Space. I am still learning all the ins and outs, but basically LOVING my Cricut Maker. The sentiment is from Taylored Expressions and the beautiful patterned paper is from Catherine Pooler.

Have a terrific day and I'll see you again tomorrow (next year!!!!)

Happy Wednesday!

Is it Wednesday? Who knows? Holiday weeks always confuse me. I never seem to know what day it really is!

I used the Line Art stamp set again along with the Geo Frames stamp set from Altenew. This time I used Fresh Lemon and Azurite inks.

This was such a simple card to make and I hope it brings a smile to your face! I'll be back tomorrow and I'll see you then.

You're So Kind

Happy Tuesday!

'Tis the season to write thank you notes now. I don't mass produce cards, but if I did, this is the one I would do. One floral stamp set, one sentiment, one ink color - set it up in the Misti and go!

I've linked the items I've used below if you want a closer look.

See you again tomorrow!
