You are Simply Fabulous

Happy Monday!

Let's start out the week with a flocked rainbow and a foiled background! I think the brighter the better today!

I used the Rainbow Bright die from MFT Stamps and a printed background that I ran through my Minc machine with some fun foil. The flock and the foil are from Therm-o-Web and I absolutely love how it makes the card shine! Look for more flocked rainbows very soon!

Have a bright rainbow filled day and I'll see you again tomorrow!

Hello

Happy Saturday!

Just wanted to share another part of the February Picket Fence Studios release with you.

The hello die also has a shadow die, but I used just the inner portion this time cut from some glitter paper. I also used the Fancy Flourish stencil for my card and some of the new Paper Glazes. I mixed up the Peony Pink and the Snowdrop White to make a more subtle color.

Don't forget that if you decide to shop you can use the code HEART20 to receive 20% off your order. This ends tomorrow...so hurry!

Have a great day and I'll see you again tomorrow.

Picket Fence Studios February Release is LIVE!

Happy Friday!

You are going to LOVE the new stamps, dies and stencils that Picket Fence Studios is releasing today!

My first card uses two of the fantastic sentiments sets: Favorite Notification and Fancy Sentiments. This was an easy card to create for sure. I made some water color strokes and then stamped the hello three times and then finally the star of the show: "You Are My Favorite Notification".

Next up I used the Watercolor Trees and Brushes stamp set. This time I colored the stamped image using three water-based markers.  It took a few layers to get the affect I wanted, but I love how it turned out. For my background I used two of the new Paper Glazes - the Marigold Orange and the Snowdrop White mixed together to make this lighter color. I put it through a stencil and it worked perfectly.

One last item before I go...have you seen our new Stamp Scrubber? This guy is amazing! With water or stamp cleaner, this marvel gets your stamps super clean with just a swipe. You can find it in our store as well.

I do hope you will run over to the Picket Fence Studios page to see all of the new stamps, stencils and dies. If you would like to see the entire release, you can click right here. I want to show you even more samples from this release, so I will be posting samples right here for the next few days.

I'll be back tomorrow and I'll see you then!

Wishing You a Colorful Day

Happy Thursday!

I am still all over the rainbows right now, so today I decided to use a digital image from Graciellie Designs for my rainbow card.

I printed out the entire design including the greeting, but left the handle uncolored. The paint and the bristles were printed too using Photoshop and digital papers from the same kit which is called Rainbow Vibes. At first my entire background was white, but I decided it too needed some color so I blended on some warm Distress Oxide inks.

To finish this card I colored the handle and then added Nuvo Crystal Glaze to the lower part of the brush and to the paint dots.

I hope you like today's card. I really enjoyed making it to share with you. I'll be back tomorrow and I hope to see you then.

Here is my card for this week's Color Throwdown challenge. My card is based on this inspiration photo which includes lavender, green and gray:

I used the new My Favorite Things Birthdays Take the Cake stamps and dies for the focal point on my card. This set contains some adorable images and sentiments and I'll be using it again very soon.

I Think You are Amazing

Happy Tuesday!

Along with everyone else in the craft world right now, I am loving rainbows. When I purchased the Mini Amazing Rainbow stamp set from Flora and Fauna, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it.

I chose some nice bright colors and filled my entire card front with rainbows. After I added the sentiment, I decided it needed a little more black, so I found this tiny heart stamp from Simon Says Stamp and added a few small hearts.

I plan to make more rainbows soon, so be sure to stay tuned. I'll be back tomorrow and I'll see you then.

Surprise - This is for You

Happy Monday!

Let's start off the week with a sweet little deer delivering some happy mail. Shall we?

Here is a look at the stamp set which is called Peach and Piper Checking the Post. The images in this set are just the cutest and I love coloring them and adding them to an ink blended background.

I hope you like today's card. I certainly did enjoy making it! I'll be back tomorrow and I'll see you then.

Ridiculously Happy For You

Happy Sunday!

Need a quick card to which you could any sentiment? Check out this Swallowtail Beauty from Picket Fence Studios. Then pick out any sentiment you need and your card is done.  I ink blended the butterfly with just two colors and I absolutely love the look.

Have a great day and I'll see you again tomorrow!

Smile or You Will Get Wrinkles

Happy Saturday!

Isn't this little girl just the cutest? She is from the Girls of all Seasons stamp set from Picket Fence Studios. And there are matching dies! I love them all, but the one with glasses is my favorite.

I also used the Flourish Circle stencil on part of my background with some light pink Distress Inks.

I hope you have a terrific day and I'll see you again tomorrow!

Love You More - Take Two

Happy Friday!

I decided to redo yesterday's card. I just didn't like the way it looked. I know we are our own worst critic...so that's how it goes.

I used the same background, but changed out the heart. The boys who will get this are little Baylor Bears. So it occurred to me today that maybe a green and yellow rainbow would be even better for them. I also switched out the Kraft card stock for Sandy Beach. All of this was a quick fix and now I'm happy with the card.

And here's a Baylor Bear for you to enjoy:

Have a great day and I'll see you again tomorrow!

Love You More

Happy Thursday!

I've been getting my Valentines ready to send and I came to one very real conclusion. I can't send any of them to the one household on my list with all boys. Especially boys who are 11 and 7. They are way too cool for pink, purple and sequins. WAY too cool.

So I grabbed some kraft ink and card stock and started a boy card. I'm not if sure the hearts in the background are too much...but the card is done!

Have a great day and I'll see you again tomorrow.

Color Throwdown Challenge #579 - Happy Birthday

Happy Wednesday!

Here is my card for this week's Color Throwdown challenge. My card is based on this inspiration photo which includes navy, light blue, pink and white.

I used the Fine Bouquet Die from Altenew. This was fun to create and I tried a few methods before I landed on this one. I love how the flower is just a bit darker than the background. I'm not sure you can see, but the flower and leaves are also very glittery.

You can join in the fun at Color Throwdown too if you would like! This is just the first day, so you have plenty of time to play along. The design team has outdone themselves this week - you have to take a look! You will also find the rules and the link to add your creation at the Color Throwdown website.

Thanks a Bunch

Happy Tuesday!

Today all of my supplies are from Altenew. Even those stripes - they are actually from a piece of Washi tape.

I used the Mod Vases stamp set and the Parlor Palms die sets. I did not own the dies for the Mod Vases, but ordered them as soon as I finished my card. My Scan 'n Cut did a great job, but there are so many techniques I want to try that require the matching dies.

I hope you have a wonderful day. I'll be back tomorrow and I hope to see you then.

#Stay Zen

Hello Monday Friends!

When I first saw this Eat Sleep Yoga stamp and die set, I just KNEW I'd be using it often. I have a daughter in law who teaches yoga and I think she would love some cards using this set. She and my 3 year old granddaughter even do yoga together.

Here is a look at this adorable stamp set which has matching dies:

I also used the Scrolls stencil for my background. Take a look at how beautiful it is:

I hope you've enjoyed today's card. I certainly loved making it and sharing it with you. Come on back tomorrow for another fun project.

I Hate that You're Feeling Blue

Happy Friday!

Let's end this month with a bright blue card!

I used some digital striped paper and stickers from Graciellie Designs to make my card today. I love printing my own elements sometimes.

My vase is from the new Mod Vases stamp and die set from Altenew and my sentiment is from Scrapbook.com.

Sending this card out to a friend who is struggling today. I'll be back tomorrow and I'll see you then!

Happy Birthday

Happy Thursday!

I went to a stamp show this past weekend and discovered Technique Junkies. I am positive I've known about them forever...but I really took a good look this time.

WOW! They have such amazing and unique stamps. I could have spent a fortune in their booth. But I only bought this one stamp called Olive Branch and I am wild about it. With such a gorgeous background I could just add a sentiment and call it done. And that is what happened when I added the Altenew happy die cut and supporting sentiment.

Have a fun day - filled with lots of stamping! I'll be back tomorrow and I'll see you then.

Color Throwdown Challenge #578 - With Sympathy

Happy Wednesday!

Here is my card for this week's Color Throwdown challenge which is the 300th time in a row that I have been able to play along! My card is based on this inspiration photo which includes red, dark gray, light gray and white.

I used the Stained Glass Window stamp and die set from Altenew. It is a layering set, but I decided to color in the image instead. I stamped some extra ones and I plan to color them soon! My sentiment is from MFT Stamps.

You can join in the fun at Color Throwdown too if you would like! This is just the first day, so you have plenty of time to play along. The design team has outdone themselves this week - you have to take a look! You will also find the rules and the link to add your creation at the Color Throwdown website.

All My Love

Happy Tuesday!

Today I have a very simple card to share. I used my Spellbinders Glimmer Machine to foil the LOVE and one of the hearts onto my background paper. Then I foiled one more heart, cut it out with my Scan n Cut and popped it up with foam tape.

The "all my" sentiment is from Concord and 9th. I just searched through my stamps to find the words in a good size for my card.

Have a wonderful and crafty day and I'll see you again tomorrow!

It's Simple. I Love You

Happy Monday!

I thought I'd start out the week with a bright rainbow card. Simon Says Stamp has a really great die that makes a heart with an inset rainbow, but I don't have that die, so I created my own with two separate dies.

I am sure mine was more work, but that's alright with me because I love how it turned out. I think the heart and rainbow dies are from MFT Stamps. I've had them forever. I know for certain that the sentiment is from them as it is a bit newer.

I did use Simon Says Stamp ink in the Scuba color for my blending behind the heart. It may be one of my favorite colors ever.

I hope you have a wonderful day and I'll see you again tomorrow.

I Love You

Happy Sunday!

I paired up two stamp sets from Picket Fence Studios to make my card today. I love those little envelopes and I thought they would look cute as a backdrop for my scene.

I used A Little Love Note and Loads of Mail:

You can find these and so much more by clicking right here.

Have a terrific day and I'll see you again tomorrow!

You Are An Asolutely, Positively Amazing Human Being

Happy Saturday!

Who wouldn't enjoy getting a card with this sentiment? We all need affirmation and I think this pretty much sums up how I feel about my wonderful friends.

I used the Picket Fence Studios Desert Succulent two part foiling and cutting die to make my card. I foiled the plate with three colors of foil and then arranged them on my card front. I love foiling and this method is so easy!

I do hope you have a wonderful day and I'll see you again tomorrow.

Altenew January Inspiration Challenge - Hello

Happy Friday!

Today I am sending my card over to thAltenew January Inspiration Challenge. I used the Best Mom stamp set for my card today. My sentiment is from the Half Tone Hello stamp and die set. It is an older set, but new to my crafty stash.

Here is our inspiration challenge board:

There is still some time to join in the fun at Altenew because this challenge doesn't end until January 31, 2020. Play along if you can...there are prizes you know!

Pucker Up

Happy Thursday!

I probably should have warned you to get your sunglasses out for this card. I usually don't do such bold and bright color, but I was in a bold and bright mood for this one!

This stamp and die set is available at Picket Fence Studios now and is just part of our HUGE release. Be sure to run by and take a look!

I'll be back tomorrow and I'll see you then!

Color Throwdown Challenge #577 - Adventure Time - Let's Go!

Happy Wednesday!

Here is my card for this week's Color Throwdown challenge. It is based on this inspiration photo which includes navy, pink and green.

I rarely do any scene building, but I thought I would give it a try using the Christmas Care-a-Van stamp and die set from The Greetery. I used dies from Taylored Expressions for my roadway and hills. I made the clouds with a stencil from MFT Stamps which I've had it forever, but this is the first time I've attempted clouds. I sort of love how it all came together!

You can join in the fun at Color Throwdown too if you would like! This is just the first day, so you have plenty of time to play along. Be sure to take a look at the fun projects from the design team! You will also find the rules and the link to add your creation at the Color Throwdown website.

Pinkfresh Studio Monthly Challenge - Cheering You On

Happy Tuesday!

I am sending this card over to Pinkfresh Studio for their January challenge which is a 2019 Year in Review type challenge. We could select any month for inspiration. More on that in a moment...

Here is our inspiration board for the month:

I chose this palette with the Mix and Match theme:

I used two different stamp sets for my card - Skating Bunnies and Playful Animal Friends 1. I love how I was able to blend the background to incorporate some of the palette colors and then add in my sentiment from the second set.

I'll be back tomorrow and I hope you will visit me again then!
