Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #34 - Home is Where the Heart Is

Hello Friday Friends!

Today I'm sending my card over to challenge #34 at Lawn Fawnatics. This time the challenge is to show your favorite place.

Being an introvert, of course my favorite place is my home.  Home for me is safety.  I don't mind going places as long as I know that I will be home before too long.  It is my sweet spot, my happy place!

Be sure to check out the Lawn Fawnatics blog to see all the fun inspiration for this challenge.  You will love the design team inspiration.

Have a great day and I'll see you again tomorrow!

Where Creativity Meets C9 Challenge #24 - You're the Best Ever

Happy Thursday!

Here is my card for this month's Where Creativity Meets C9 challenge.  The theme this time is ANYTHING GOES.  I love challenges like this!

I am still pretty much hooked on this Concord and 9th Wreath Turnabout stamp set and I wanted to use some wonderful and bright ink colors.  So of course I chose inks from Gina K. Designs.  The large sentiment is from the Everyday Greetings set from Concord and 9th.

I even made the background with a stamp from Gina K.  So I guess you might think these two are my favorite companies right now (and you'd be right).

Be sure to check out this challenge and add your own creation to the mix. Have a great day and I'll see you again tomorrow!

Color Throwdown Challenge #506 - You are MerMazing

Happy Wednesday!

Here is my card for this week's Color Throwdown challenge. The colors are aqua, peach, grey and white.

And here is the inspiration photo:

I used images from the Flora and Fauna Mermaid Love stamp set to make my card.  I had fun building this scene and was very pleasantly surprised that I liked what I put together on the first try.  For me, that doesn't happen very often!

You can join in the fun at Color Throwdown too if you would like!  Be sure to check out all the samples the designers have created for us. You will also find the rules and the link to add your creation at the Color Throwdown website.

See you again tomorrow!

Essentials by Ellen July Color Trend Challenge - Sending Happy Thoughts

Hello Saturday Friends!

Today I am sharing my card over at the Ellen Hutson July Color Trends Challenge.   I was inspired by the beautiful pink and purple roses in the challenge photo:

I used the Essentials by Ellen Rustic Botanicals stamp set, Distress Oxide Inks, the Itsy Bitsy Polka Dots background stamp from MFT Stamps and some acrylic white paint for the splatters.

This challenge doesn't end until August 14th, so you still have plenty of time to play along.  To be eligible, you must use Essentials by Ellen products and the current inspiration photo.  Then you can link up your creation using the inlinkz button on this challenge post.

Have a great day and I'll see you again tomorrow.

Three Amigos Challenge #17 - You're a Delight

Hello Friday Friends!

This time on the Three Amigos Challenges website they are allowing us to choose any 2018 challenge and make a card based on that challenge. I chose #13 which was April Flowers.  They are calling this challenge A Blast from the Past.

I used stamps from Concord and 9th and also the Stamp Market. I used inks from Gina K. Designs which are truly my favorite because they stamp perfectly every time!

I hope you are having a wonderful day today - filled with plenty of happiness, love and stamping.

See you again tomorrow!

Timeout Challenge #115 Reminder - When Life Gives You Lemons...

Hello Thursday Friends!

I wanted to stop by and remind you to enter the current Time Out Challenge.  You don't want to miss this fun opportunity to get out your food and drink stamps and papers!

This challenge is sponsored by Birch Press Designs and entails food and drink.  There is also an optional twist of making a one layer card. Here is the inspiration photo:

I used the Altenew Main Squeeze stamp set for my image.  First I stamped in light grey on the background and then I stamped, heat embossed and die cut the same image, but in yellow.  Even though this is a layering stamp set, I only used one of the layers and I love the look.

Thanks for stopping by today - and thanks to Timeout Challenges for inviting me in as a guest designer.  I post a new project daily, so feel free to come back any time!

Here is my card for this week's Color Throwdown challenge. The colors are teal, pink and grey.

I used a water color image from the Taylored Expressions Water Color Panels-Inspire pack. I am just learning to water color and these little panels are perfect for my first attempts.

I Love You

Hello Tuesday Friends!

A while back I bought a magazine that had some Altenew dies as an added value gift. I decided to give them a try.  I selected three shades of soft aqua card stock and layered up the die cuts.  It certainly was quick and easy!  I cut my background using my Silhouette and added the sentiment from Gina K. Designs.

I wanted to add some "dew" to each rose, so I used Gina K. Designs Crystalline Drops which dry perfectly round and perfectly clear.  If you haven't tried them, I can highly recommend them to you!

Have a great day and I'll see you again tomorrow.

You're a True Friend

Hello Monday Friends!

Today's card is a compilation using stamps from three companies.  The dotted inset is from The Stamp Market.  The pink and black layer is a turnabout stamp from Concord and 9th and the kitty, puppy, sentiment and cat stand are all from MFT Stamps.

Sometimes a girl just needs to mix it up!!

Do you like to mix stamp sets?  I would love to hear which are your favorites.

See you tomorrow!

Color Throwdown Challenge #504 - A World of Thanks

Happy Wednesday!

Here is my card for this week's Color Throwdown challenge. The colors are black, white and a bronze or copper color. This is such a classy combination!

And here is the inspiration photo:

I used the Globe Greetings from Concord and 9th to make my focal point.  There are so many cute images and greetings in this set!  I added some paper flowers to the left side to balance the globe.  I absolutely loved it so much I made another one right away and I'll share that one with you tomorrow!

Time Out Challenge #115 - Birthday Wishes

Hello Thursday Friends!

I am super excited to be a guest designer at Time Out Challenges today.  I was lucky enough to be chosen during the previous challenge and it really is an honor!

This new challenge is sponsored by Birch Press Designs and entails food and drink.  There is also an optional twist of making a one layer card. Here is the inspiration photo:

I used the Birch Press Kessa-Arch layering dies to make the panel on my card.  I cut all three layers from white card stock and colored the bottom two to coordinate with my stamped images.  The stamp and die set I used for my focal point is from Sunny Studio Stamps and is called Tropical Paradise.

Thanks for stopping by today.  I post a new project daily, so feel free to come back any time!

Enjoy the Simple Things

Happy Wednesday!

What are the simple things you enjoy?  Family?  Home?  Creating?  Me too.

I've been taking time lately to enjoy all three.  What a different world we create when we are aware of our blessings and are grateful.

That's my thought for the day!  See you tomorrow!

Thinking of You

Happy Tuesday!

Do you love the Gina K. Designs Wreath Builder Bundle as much as I do?  If so, the Autumn Wreath Builder stamp set will make you just as happy!!

Here is a look at the set:

I really didn't have a plan when I started this card so I just grabbed some images and started.  I love how the inside part left room for a small shaker.

The sentiment is from the Just a Little stamp set which I also adore.  So I'll show you a picture of it too.

Here's to a terrific Tuesday!  See you again tomorrow!

Hello Monday Friends!

It's time for the July Altenew Inspiration Challenge and I am sneaking in just under the wire!  Here is the lovely inspiration challenge they have shared with us:

I used beautiful Altenew inks to form my flowers from the Painted Flowers set.  I thought it would be fun to add color to just a few of the outlines and turns out I love the look!
