Hero Arts My Monthly Hero Kit - Be Mine

Happy Saturday!

Hero Arts has a brand new My Monthly Hero kit available now.  I don't subscribe to the kits, but this one caught my eye and I decided to buy it.  I am so glad I did!

This kit contains so many stamps and dies - it's amazing!  It also comes with glassine envelopes, card stock, some stickers and some glaze.

I haven't used the scene building stamps and dies yet, but I will soon and I will share with you.  But I did manage to make this card and one other today.  I'll show you the second card tomorrow, so be sure to come back.

See you tomorrow!

Concord & 9th Feature Friday - To the Point and Hello Sunshine Turnabout Stamp Sets

Hello Friday Friends!

Yay!  It's Feature Friday at Concord & 9th. I am so happy to be guest designing for them this month and I have some fun cards to share with you today.

First up is the To the Point Turnabout stamp and die bundle.

I think I LOVE this Turnabout!  The images are so cute and you can use up to eight colors with this one!  I made three cards - a shaker, a heat embossed and colored one, and one that highlights the dies.

Next is the Hello Sunshine Turnabout stamp set and dies.  This is such a happy bundle!  The more cards I made, the more I found myself smiling.

My first card features the Turnabout die.  Underneath the cut out layer I used Copic markers to color some C9 glitter paper in rainbow order.  My next two cards were made with the Turnabout stamp and accentuating dies.  Whether you go all rainbow or use two or four colors, this set just screams HAPPY to me!

You can shop the entire new release by clicking right here if you would like.  This release is remarkable and so much fun!!  You just might want it all!

I'll be back tomorrow and I'll see you then!

Your Friendship Warms my Heart

Happy Thursday!

Can you believe how cute these two are?  The stamps I used are from Whimsy Stamps. Here is a link to the Bundled Up stamp set I used.  I cut the images with my ScanNCut.  It was the first time I had ever used it and I definitely held my breath!

Anyway, I am crushing on the cuteness of these characters!  I hope you like them too.

See you tomorrow!

Color Throwdown Challenge #526 - Be Mine

Happy Wednesday!

Here is my card for this week's Color Throwdown challenge.  This challenge has two shades of blue plus white.  I know that signals snowflakes, but I went another direction.  I made a valentine using this week's colors.

From the moment the Pretty Pink Posh Floral Hearts stamp and die set hit my mailbox, I've been itching to use it.  Today is the day and I love it!  I added the sentiment from the Concord & 9th Little Love Tags stamp set.

You can join in the fun at Color Throwdown too if you would like!  You will love what the designers created for us this week. You will also find the rules and the link to add your creation at the Color Throwdown website.

See you again tomorrow!

Sending Warmest Wishes

Happy Monday!

Lunch with my friend Jalayne is often dangerous...like when she showed me The Ton's newest release.  We BOTH had to have this set.  It is called Special Day Lanterns.  It took me a bit to get the layers correct, but it was so worth it.  I love all the dimension!

Next I am going to experiment with some copper and gold embossing powders.  I think those colors will make some outstanding lanterns!  So stay tuned!

Have a crafty day and I'll see you again tomorrow!

Your Kindness Brings So Much Color to my Life

Happy Saturday!

I've been enjoying all of the newest Turnabout stamp sets from Concord & 9th, so I thought I'd show some love to one of the older sets too.  This one is the Crafty Turnabout and it is one of my favorites.

I grabbed bright ink and card stock colors from Gina K. Designs and started stamping away.  I absolutely love how easy it is to make backgrounds with these stamps!

Have a terrific day and I'll see you again tomorrow!

I made three projects with this set in bright colors to share today.  You can see how versatile the bundle is.  You could make so many different styles of celebratory cards with this one set.

Next is the Marbled Turnabout stamp set.  Can you even imagine how many backgrounds you could make with just this one Turnabout stamp?

Color Throwdown Challenge #525 - You Inspire Me

Happy Thursday!

Here is my project for this week's Color Throwdown challenge.  I was totally surprised by this week's colors, but I love the black, brown and white combination!

I paired up the Crafty Turnabout stamps and dies from Concord & 9th with the Little Letterboard dies from the Stamp Market.  I did make the letterboard a bit smaller than the original so more of the background could show.  But I will use it again in its intended size soon.

You can join in the fun at Color Throwdown too if you would like!  You will love what the designers created for us this week. You will also find the rules and the link to add your creation at the Color Throwdown website.

See you again tomorrow!

Guest Designing for Concord & 9th - Everyday Bouquet Turnabout Toolkit

Happy Wednesday!

And for me it is a SUPER happy day because I get to be a guest designer with one of my favorite companies during the month of January.  Thank you Concord & 9th for such a wonderful treat.

Being the innovative company they are, they have come up with a brand new kit to perfect our stamping with Turnabout stamps.  No more sharpies and no more Xs.  It's true!!  Take a look at this marvelous kit.  It is called the Everyday Bouquet Turnabout Toolkit.  The 6x6 Turnabout Jig makes lining up your stamps a breeze.  Plus you get a stamp and die set, temporary adhesive, an adhesive remover and a set of white cards and envelopes.

You are going to totally flip over this kit.  It is a game changer!!

I made one set of note cards and two other cards to share with you today  I didn't do any fancy techniques on these cards.  I just used what was in the kit plus beautiful ink and card stock colors to make my cards.  I hope you will find some inspiration in them.

There are so many beautiful sets in this month's release.  Everything is a Turnabout in celebration of the new kit.  And it's all available right now at Concord & 9th.  You can shop the release right here if you would like.

Have a marvelous day and I'll see you back here tomorrow!

I Treasure Our Friendship

Hello Saturday Friends!

I hope you have had a good week.  I can't believe it's the weekend already!

I made this ink blended panel a while ago and just now made it into a card.  The stencil was made from a Gina K. Designs die that I picked up at her store.  I don't see it on the website, so it may have been a limited edition.

Stencils made from dies are awesome because they are just paper and you toss them when you are done.  No need to run to the sink to clean them off.  Once I blended my colors I sprayed the panel very generously with a glitter spray and in real life it really sparkles!

The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp and the patterned paper is from My Favorite Things.  I rarely use patterned paper any more, but I knew this color would be perfect.

Have a wonderful crafty day and I'll see you again tomorrow.

Congratulations on Your New Kitten

Happy Friday!

This is a card I've been saving for a while.  It uses two Wreath Builder sets from Gina K. Designs - Reasons to Celebrate and Mandala Maker.  I think it is so much fun to mix up sets like this.  It makes the possibilities endless!  Don't you think so?

I hope you have a terrific day and I'll see you again tomorrow!

Thinking of You

Happy Thursday!

This is the time of year when no one really knows what day of the week it is!  Christmas and the first week of the year all seem like Saturdays to me!

I used the Pinkfresh Studio Folk Mandala stamp and die set again the today.  One of the stamps makes the outline and the other fills in the color.  I added just a bit of shading to the images with Copic markers.  I also love having the die that cuts the mandala out perfectly, making this a quick and easy card.

Have a creative day and I'll see you again tomorrow!

Happy Wednesday

Here is my project for this week's Color Throwdown challenge.  What fun colors to work with this week!!

I've had this Happy Hugs stamp set from Pinkfresh Studio since before Christmas, but never could fit it in while making all my holiday cards.  But now....I'm ready.  And this image was perfect for this week's colors.  I love the combination of the yellow, green and black.

You can join in the fun at Color Throwdown too if you would like!  You will love what the designers created for us this week. You will also find the rules and the link to add your creation at the Color Throwdown website.
