Happy Birthday

Happy Friday!

Speaking of mixing it up... this card is a mix of some of my favorite places to shop. The present images and the mini slim card design are from Taylored Expressions. The little baker is from MFT Stamps and the scalloped frame is made with my Cricut Maker.

I love to mix and match supplies when it comes to card making. Do you?

Have a great day and I'll see you on Monday.

Hand Soap and Dish Soap Dispensers

Happy Thursday!

I have another wood and vinyl label project completed. I've been wanting to do this for a while now. The bottles are from Amazon and I love the amber color!

I made the little wooden stand today from a 5 x 7" piece of  wood. I stained and sealed the base and the round feet since this will be by my kitchen sink. I used my Cricut Maker to cut the labels from white permanent vinyl and I couldn't love this more!

Have a wonderful day and I'll see you again tomorrow.

Change the World...

Happy Tuesday!

Do you love this sentiment? I found it on Cricut Design Space and decided to use it on a card. I selected blue and green heat transfer glitter vinyl and before you know it I had a card made.

The flowers on the side are an off cut of a card you will see tomorrow. I love a two for one project!

I'll be back tomorrow and I'll see you then!

My Easter Porch Decor

Happy Monday!

Over the weekend I finished up my porch decor for Easter. It seems so quick after St. Patrick's day, so I will probably leave this up for all of April.

I already know my next theme and it can stay up through June. Yay! Two months!! I have the best time making this decor and knowing next year it will be ready to go without any effort at all! I keep each season's theme in a separate bin so as I finish up each season, the next one will be ready. At least that's my plan for now.

Have a wonderful day and I'll see you again tomorrow.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Happy Tuesday!

I am almost done with my St. Patrick's Day cards and I have to admit, this one is my favorite so far.

I used a cut file from Makers Gonna Learn and transformed it into a heart shaped hot air balloon with green iron on glitter vinyl as well as green holographic vinyl. The basket is made with gold iron on glitter vinyl. And who could resist adding some glittery shamrocks too?

For the background I used a cloud stencil from Picket Fence Studios. Easy peasy!

Enjoy your day and I'll see you again tomorrow!

You Are Not Alone

Happy COOOOOLD Tuesday!

We were without power for a while, so even though today's card was ready to go, I didn't have a way to post it until now. Better late in the day than never!

The image is from Makers Gonna Learn. I printed it on watercolor paper since it looks like a watercolored image to me. The only things I added were a shadow around the printed image, the sentiment and some Stickles to the tops of the flowers. I know some people don't consider digital images suitable for card making, but I am not one of those folks. I love all types of art and try to use lots of different media in my card making.

Have a warm day and I'll see you again tomorrow!

Some Valentine Decor

Happy Saturday!

I thought I would share my Valentine porch decor with you today. I don't like to use what everyone else has for decor, but sometimes something is just so cute, it is irresistible. Thus the red wooden truck from Hobby Lobby.

Everything else is handmade or gathered from my stash (like the straws). It all started with the wreath and then the rest came together easily. If it was red, white, pink or mint, it was in the mix!

I have already started working on my St. Patrick's Day porch decor which will be on display for the month of March. Except for fall and Christmas, this is the only space I decorate, so I love to go all out here.

If you missed it, here are a few shots of my December porch table. Some of these items stayed for my January decor too.

Have yourself a wonderful day and I'll be back tomorrow. See you then!

I Love You

Happy Friday!

Here is another card created with my Cricut Maker. I had all of these holographic hearts left over from another project, so I decided to use them on a card. Peel and stick for the win. Then I used some Glitter HTV to make my sentiment and frame. Easy peasy!

I'd love to help you learn your cricut if you are local. Be sure to contact me and let's talk about it!

I'll be back tomorrow, so I'll see you then.

You're the Sweetest

Happy Thursday!

Today's card was made completely with my Cricut Maker. It is one of the designs in the software and I thought it was just so sweet.

I went a little non traditional for a valentine, but this way it makes it a card I could use anytime of the year...and that's a good thing!

Have a great day and I'll see you again tomorrow.

Miss You

Happy Tuesday!

As you've guessed by now, I am pretty much obsessed with my Cricut Maker. And I love that I can customize any SVG that I find. This vintage phone was a freebie from SVG Cuts. It started out with a circle where the heart is and without the black base piece which I added at the last moment. I cut all the pink from card stock and all of the black from Siser Glitter HTV.

I decided to make a mini slim card so I made the stripes with the Honey Bee Stamps Shiplap Siding Background stencil and used the mini slim dies from Taylored Expressions.

Loving all the sparkle!!! See you tomorrow.

Color Hues Challenge #10 - You are my Ride or Die

Happy Sunday!

Today I am joining in the fun at the Color Hues blog for their newest challenge which is to use navy and cream. What a fun combo!

My focal point is from the brand new Picture Perfect stamp and die set from Reverse Confetti. I printed my sentiment separately from a cut file I found online.

Have a terrific day and I'll see you again tomorrow!

Color Throwdown Challenge #625 - Thanks

Happy Wednesday!

Here is my card for this week's Color Throwdown challenge. This is my very first time as hostess so I hope I don't screw it up!

This week's colors are based on this inspiration photo and are blue, pink and green:

I drew my images with my Cricut Maker and colored them with Copic markers. I added the thanks sentiment which is from Simon Says Stamp. I wanted the color to match perfectly, so I just scribbled some of my pink marker onto white card stock and then die cut the sentiment.

Be sure to stop by to see all the inspiration from the design team. You can join in the fun at Color Throwdown too if you would like! You have plenty of time to play along. You will find the rules and the link to add your creation at the Color Throwdown website.

See you again tomorrow!

You've Been on My Mind

 Happy Monday!

Just a quick card to share with you today. I drew this image with my Cricut Maker and then gave it some life with Copic markers. They are always my go to medium, although I still try others as well.

I added the sentiment strip from Taylored Expressions and I really like how it turned out.

Have a great start to the week and I'll see you again tomorrow.

Loves Me, Loves Me Not

Happy Thursday!

Yet another Valentine - I am on a roll!

I made this card with my Cricut Maker. It has three layers that form this fun card front. I used glitter paper, holographic vinyl and then the white card stock. The Cricut even drew the design on the front. I call that a WIN!

Have a wonderful day and I'll see you again tomorrow.

I Love Us

Happy Tuesday!

Today I am using another stencil from A Colorful Life Designs. This one is called the Notre-Dame Swirl stencil. Here is a look:

I love that you don't have to use any stencil just "as is". I used various portions of this one to create a slim line card in a pink champagne color scheme. I didn't want to hide the beauty of the soft swirls, so I used a simple stacked glittery sentiment cut with my Cricut Maker. Sometimes the background just needs to be the star of the show and that is the beauty of stencils.

Have a lovely day and I'll see you again tomorrow.

XOXO Hugs and Kisses

Happy Saturday!

I thought it would be fun to continue the rainbow theme from yesterday with another super stencil set from A Colorful Life Designs. This one is called Marvelous Masks Scalloped Hearts. It has four layers and eight pieces in this set because you get both the positive and negative of this design.

I used Iron On Glitter Vinyl and a cut file from Cricut Design Space for my XOXO. The smaller sentiment is from the Little Love Notes stamp set from MFT Stamps.

Have a marvelous day and I'll see you again tomorrow.

Your Strength is Inspiring

Happy New Year's Eve!

Why don't we close out this year with some bright colors and let's face it, if you made it through 2020, your strength IS inspiring!

My holographic vinyl feathers are from Cricut Design Space. I am still learning all the ins and outs, but basically LOVING my Cricut Maker. The sentiment is from Taylored Expressions and the beautiful patterned paper is from Catherine Pooler.

Have a terrific day and I'll see you again tomorrow (next year!!!!)

Spicing up the Spices

Happy Monday!

Have you ever had so much to do that you didn't do any of it and opted for a totally unrelated project instead? That happened to me today.

I already had my spices in these jars with printed labels on the top. But for some reason I decided to change where I keep my spices and now they will be laying down in another drawer instead of standing up in the drawer in which they have resided all year.

At first I looked on Etsy for a label download and then I thought, 'I can just do this with my Cricut.' So I did. I used printable vinyl which is a miracle product! Once I had everything designed and printed, my Cricut did the rest which was AMAZING!

I already had some Ikea drawer storage that was perfect for my spices, so now they are all laying down in perfect alphabetical order in their new drawer.

So now I am back to work on a new project for tomorrow. See you then!
