Time Out Challenge #116 - Heaven Sent

I am sending my card over to Time Out Challenges today. This time they are challenging us to be bright.

What could be brighter than pink and green?  I used a stamp set from Pretty Pink Posh to stamp the placement of the gems.  I think the recipient will love the look of this card!

I used the Altenew Main Squeeze stamp set for my image.  First I stamped in light grey on the background and then I stamped, heat embossed and die cut the same image, but in yellow.  Even though this is a layering stamp set, I only used one of the layers and I love the look.

I am super excited to be a guest designer at Time Out Challenges today.  I was lucky enough to be chosen during the previous challenge and it really is an honor!

I used the Birch Press Kessa-Arch layering dies to make the panel on my card.  I cut all three layers from white card stock and colored the bottom two to coordinate with my stamped images.  The stamp and die set I used for my focal point is from Sunny Studio Stamps and is called Tropical Paradise.

Time Out Challenge #114 - Happy Birthday

Hello Friday Friends!

I am sending my card over to Time Out Challenges today. The challenge is a home sweet home one. These homes make me think of the condos at the coast, so I think it fits right in.  Here is the theme banner:

The set I used is from Pinkfresh Studios and is called A Day in the City.  But I prefer to think of it as a week in some condos at the beach!  And now I want to go to the beach!!!!

I was totally inspired to make this when I saw Laura Bassen craft one using this set.  I may have been too inspired though, because I made it look so similar.  I just loved hers so much!!

I bought the Avery Elle set called Sea-prise not too long ago.  My grandson used the shark image on a birthday card for his dad yesterday.  While it was out on my desk, I couldn't resist using the same image on a card to share today.  That shark just makes me laugh.  I think it's his party hat!!  I glittered up the word smile, the party hat and the bright red area of his mouth.  I just could not resist!

Hello Sunday Friends!

First of all, happy Father's Day to all those dads who treasure their children no matter how young or old, sweet or sassy, lovable or not so much.  I am married to such a man and all my sons and my one son in law fit this description.  They are all great dads.

I was inspired by the pink and green colors (a favorite of mine) so I used an image from the Gina K. Designs stamp set called Stuck on You.  This set is filled with marvelous succulent stamps and comes with matching dies.

I used the Wreath Turnabout stamp set from Concord and 9th to make my wreath.  All of the ink colors are from Gina K. Designs.  I think these words are so sweet and just perfect to send to a friend, don't you?

Time Out Challenge #108 - You are Paw-Some!

Happy Friday!

Time Out Challenges is a super fun website I discovered a few weeks ago.  This time the challenge is to be wild.  So I stamped some precious lion cubs for my card.

 

I used the Liam and Liz Lion stamp set from Gina K. Designs to make my card.  Even though these cubs are so super sweet, they are still technically wild!!  I thought this would be a nice encouragement card and I love the blue!

Time Out Challenge #107 - Hello Bunny

Happy Friday!

Time Out Challenges turned out to be one I am going to add to my radar.  This time the challenge is to make a card with a spring theme.  What could be more springy than bunnies?

I used an Altenew stencil for my stripes and the Oh Bunny stamp set from Simon Says stamp to make my card.  Can you see the shadow beneath the green bunny with the fuzzy tail?  That particular bunny is actually a wobbler.  It really makes this card extra cute!

Time Out Challenge #106 - Thankful for Your Friendship

Happy Tuesday!

I thought I would try out a new challenge I found called Time Out Challenges.  I'm not quite sure yet what different challenges they issue, but this one caught my eye because of all the yellow in the inspiration photo:

I noticed this particular challenge is sponsored by Altenew, so I used their Beautiful You stamp set I've had in my stash for a while.  I used Copic markers to color my images in shades of yellow and green.  I'll be sending this card to a friend very soon.  I already know which one!
