Just For You

Today's little card accompanied a birthday gift for a precious coworker.  She is a baker at heart - but since it was HER birthday, we couldn't really ask her to bake the cake.  So I thought she should at least have a card that represented her passion.  Tomorrow I am going to show you the gift we gave her.
To make the background I cut strips of some Anna Griffin papers and butted them together.  Along the bottom, I used a scalloped border die from MFT Stamps to cover the little seam.

I cut and embossed the focal image using the Labels Eight die from Spellbinders.

The layout of this card was super simple and quick.  And the image colored up nicely using Copic markers.  The image itself is also from MFT Stamps and is called Fresh from the Over.  She is a cutie pie for sure!

If you run over to the MFT Stamps Blog, you can see their fun weekly challenge.  Every week they post a new sketch challenge.  Check out this week's.  Go ahead.  You'll have fun with the one they have already posted today.  You know I am planning what MY card will look like for sure. And if you go to the gallery, you will always be able to see some of my work there as well.

See ya tomorrow.

Susie
