Fit for Royalty

That's right - it's a 3-D crown!  Where did I get it?  I made it myself.  Well, me and some Ice Resin and a rubber mold anyway.  I have been creating flowers and crowns and wings galore this past week.  It takes about 6 hours for each molded piece to set up, so it takes a while to make very many - but I've had such fun each morning seeing what I've managed to make the night before.

I thought it would be fun to put on a card.  And this card turned out well, I think.  I have used three dies you have seen before - a circle, a border and a label....but what I want to show you now is the frame die.  I found this one at Hobby Lobby, but the attached link is to one on Ebay for a better price. This is what it looks like in its package:

Because the flourish parts are rather delicate, I used my Xyron to adhere the die cut to my card

And since I already had a bumpy card, I went ahead and added some large brads.  The card would take extra postage anyway - so why not bling it up!

For the next two days, I will be showing you very simple cards.  I am talking about 10 minute start to finish cards.  Sometimes we need something quick that looks like we put time into it (but we didn't).

So come back tomorrow and Sunday and I'll show you what I mean.

Susie
