Easy Peasy Butterfly Squeezy

From earlier posts you already know that the butterfly is my newest die.  So she is still in my little stack of things to use right away.

I know I promised you a pink card for today, but you will need to wait for tomorrow now because I lost track of what day it really is.  Holiday weeks do that to me.

This is the second week of Summer Card Camp and I needed to get a card into the gallery by tonight...and I needed to use this week's colors.  I used papers from the Cafe Mediterranean DCWV stack for my butterflies.  They seem very tropical to me and that was my goal.  Tropical butterflies.

I used a Tim Holtz embossing folder on a plain piece of white cardstock for my background and then die cut five sets of butterflies.  I could have die cut the sentiment circle and mat too, but I had two punches handy, so I used those instead.  I stamped the sentiment and added pearls and called it done.  And I think it works.
The die and the sentiment are both from MFT Stamps.  The pearls and papers are from my ever expanding stash.

So I am off to post this card in the class gallery.  I already peaked at the other gals' work.  Oh my!  Incredible talent in this group.

Oh - and here are the colors we are using this week:

See you tomorrow.

Susie
