Happy July!
I have shown you a digital stamp by this company in the past. The company is called Just Some Lines. They have some precious images and what I love about them is that they are digital. Now, don't get me wrong, I love to stamp with real stamps, but there are advantages to digital. No ink on the fingers is the first one I can think of, but more importantly, the images can be any size at all. I haven't tried yet, but I think I could even color an image using Photo Shop if I didn't feel like coloring with Copics.
I did color this little cutie pie with Copic markers. For her jeans, I used a blender pen trying to make them look like real blue jeans. Not sure it worked - but it's different anyway. In the original image, she is carrying a candle and she has holly in her hair. So to cover those parts up, I made her hold some lavender and yellow flowers as well as have some in her super curly locks. So she is now a flower child instead of a Christmas gal. I also needed a little bit of lavender in the card base, so I just grabbed some purple-ish Stickles and made some swirls. Mission accomplished!
I used the Large Oval die and the Lacy Oval die for this card. Both are from Spellbinders. Because I wanted the image to stand out a little, I lightly edged it with Stickles before I matted it.
For the next few days, I will be showing you more images from this fun digital stamp company. And I am going to show you a new die tomorrow. I can't wait for you to see it.
Until then,
Susie
