Happy Labor Day. This little angel is really ready to swim - not work and here in Texas it is still hot enough to swim. That's for sure.
The sketch I used for this was the Wednesday Challenge Sketch at My Favorite Things. I've been trying to upload a card each week for the challenge.
The papers are from one of my newest paper pads - Echo Park Victoria Gardens. All of the papers are just so sweet and vintage looking.
The focal image is cut from a Spellbinders Long Rectangle and the flower is cut from the MFT Stamps Retro Rolled Flower die.
The die I want to showcase though today is that little File Tab die. It is from MFT Stamps - but I had to alter it a bit using the die. The tab when cut is about 3" long - but I needed a shorter one. So after I cut it out, I put it back into the die - but scooched it down so that it would cut one end shorter for me. Made the die very versatile, I think.
Tomorrow I will be back with another card from another new paper pack. Yes - I went shopping over the weekend!
