A Little Note

Happy Happy Sunday Friends,

Today's project was inspired by a card I saw on Jody Murrow's blog.  Hers is a bit fancier...and I hope you'll take a look at it (just click on her name above).

My package from MFT Stamps arrived yesterday and I could hardly wait to start using my newest goodies.  The birdcage and bird are from the their newest release.  The set is called Die-namics Contempo Cage and Stamp Set. and it is my newest favorite I think.  The dies cut so well.  I did use a metal plate when I cut the cage because of the intricate pieces.  I cut the bird and flower from felt.

Do you like that flower?  It is also from their newest release.  It is the Die-namics Rolled Gardenia..  I wanted to place a pearl in the center, so after the flower was all rolled up, I cut out a few of the center petals to make a flat place for my pearl.  Worked great!

I uncovered some of last year's Halloween decorations while I was looking for something earlier today...so I am going to share them with you during this week.  I used dies on them....so they will fit right in here.
