I wanted to share this cute little image with you. It is from Inger Harding and she has a website rich with digital freebies. Not only does she have freebies to share, but her website is full of gorgeous inspiration. I hope you will take a look. Her blog is called Simply Inger. Once you get there and look around, you will want to buy some of her images (well, ALL of her images). She is amazing!
The image I used is called "Waiting for Santa", but I wanted to give it more of an Autumn look. I did not use much shading as the stamp itself provided so much on its own.
The dies I used for this are some of my favorites. The ovals are from Spellbinders and the jumbo scallops are from MFT Stamps. One thing I love about those jumbo scallops is that the die only cuts that one edge - so I was able to make that piece as wide as I wanted. And in this case, pretty wide.
Tomorrow I'll be back with another birdcage card.. This one will feature one of my favorite color combos- black and red. I hope I'll see you then.
