Thinking of You

Happy Monday!

Here is my second image showcase from Digi Darla.  She has some great digital images, so be sure to click on the link to see her blog and then shop from a link on her page.

Today's card uses two of her digital stamps.  The dress form and the sentiment are two different stamps, but I thought they went together perfectly because of the hearts on each.

I colored the image using Copic markers and Spica glitter pens and I paper pieced the dress.  I just love using this technique.

I used Spellbinders dies for the focal image and the mat.  The lacy border is cut from a brand new die from PaperTrey Ink. It is so delicate and sweet and cuts so easily.

I wanted the colors to all match perfectly, so I colored the paper for the mat and the border as well as the ribbon with a Copic marker.  This is a fantastic trick to make everything match and not have to buy lots of colored cardstock.

I thought this looked a little bit vintage, so I cut some small squares in half and made old fashioned photo corners to finish the card.

I have a friend who LOVES purple...so off this card goes to her.

I'll be back tomorrow to show you another fun project.  Hope I'll see you then.
