A Light at the End of the Tunnel

Happy Thursday!

Do you have a friend who could relate to this little sentiment?  I do and this card is on its way to her right now.

PaperTrey Ink is probably the most brilliant stamp company.  I don't know how they consistently come up with cute stamps and dies (my favorite of course)

The lamp is made from one of their newest die sets and the stamp sentiment is from a mini set.  LOVE IT.

I had the most fun choosing papers for this.  I think the combination I used is unlikely - and that makes me like it all the more.  I just kept mixing and matching until I was pleased with the result.

The lamp base is actually die cut from Tim Holtz Glassine paper.  I had crumpled and distressed a sheet last week for a project and saved the scraps.  To make it more stable, I adhered it to a scrap of cardstock before I cut it.  Just a little hint for you.

Another thing you will see me do very often is to die cut chipboard to use under my focal image.  I just like the way it makes it pop.  OK.  Now I am telling you too much.

I better stop for now before I spill all the family secrets.  But I'll come back tomorrow with a fun little promotion I discovered today.

See you then.

Susie
