A Little Note to Brighten Your Day

Hello Again.  Yes, it's still Monday....but I decided to come back one more time today.

It isn't very often that I can join in a Make It Monday challenge at PaperTrey Ink.  But today I got up early (for me) and got so much done that I could stop and make a card to post today.  Yay me!

Nichole has six sketches on her blog today so I chose the one pictured below.  I wanted to use that sparkly stuff that you see as a lampshade so I went to work cutting and piecing and gluing until this is what happened.  I also wanted to use those animal print glass embellishments. Oh - and I used three lines of that sparkly stuff for that black horizontal line too. I'll be telling you more about that sparkly stuff later this week.  I am still experimenting with it.  But so far...it is probably the coolest stuff I've found lately.  Which is why I can't stop typing "sparkly stuff".

Back to the card.  I just pieced the background together and then added the embellishments and the stamped sentiment (raised up on chipboard).  The stamps and dies are all from PaperTrey Ink, of course.
