Hello Friends!
Welcome to the Frosted Designs Crafty Space Blog Hop.
Perhaps you came from Brenda's Blog and you've already seen her crafty space. Isn't it fun to see how everyone scraps?
I know many of our blog hop participants are planning to show you their studios all neat and tidy and then another shot of how it looks when they crop....but I don't have any messy pictures to show you because my studio always looks the same. I don't work well in chaos...but I do have a surprise picture for you at the end.
My stand up scrapping area with drawers and cabinets for storage
My most used tools right at my eye-level for easy reach
Can't do without my inks and tool caddy
My built in book shelf where I store my paper, dies,
embellies and a few tools I use often
My die cut station (rolls into the closet when I'm done)
My sitting down area - where I do digital work, stamping and coloring
My crazy angled closet where I have wall storage for important
media and drawer storage for design team products
and various less used items
Surprise - I live at a scrapbook retreat. Five women sleep in this
room every weekend and my husband and I move out of the
house so they can have big scrapbooking fun with their girlfriends
So there you have it. My scrapbook area. We've owned our retreat for five years, but have always had a separate home where we actually lived. When we retired last year, we sold our big house and moved into our retreat. So I pared down my supplies (VERY FREEING) and my husband designed my space so we could still have our guests and I can have my studio. Before we moved here, it was just a really big bedroom, but now it does double duty and it does it really well.
Oh and I can always move downstairs to our crop room to
work if I have a big project and need to spread out.
work if I have a big project and need to spread out.
So now that you have seen my space, hop on over to see Laurie's studio
I have listed everyone's address below in case you want to hop around on your own.
