Just For You

Happy Friday and happy June!

Can you believe we are in month SIX of 2012?  Unreal!!!!!

I am still on a high from the Great American Scrapbook Convention.  I had a great day yesterday and am planning for a great day today too!

I bought a new storage system for my dies which I will show you soon.  Be patient....I have lots to show you before then.

I used two different Stampendous stamps to make this card.  One for the greeting and one for the little flowers.  In case you need them, these are the ones I used:

Stampendous Orchid Greetings SSC1053 and
Stampendous Summer Tree Fun SSC1089R

If you would like to duplicate this card, here are the instructions:

Using Versafine ink, stamp the Just For You sentiment and frame.  Cut out and set this aside.

Build front of card using two pieces of kraft cardstock.

Cut the birdcage image using an electronic die cutter and black vinyl.  (I used my Silhouette) Apply to top of card front. Carefully stamp around the birdcage using the small flower and dot cluster stamp from Summer Tree Fun.

Mat the card front pieces on black cardstock and attach to card base.

Adhere the framed sentiment to the lower portion of the card.

Hand cut and attach a small felt bird and add bling for the eye

There you go.  A simple card that packs some punch.

Tomorrow I'll be back with another Stampendous card.  It will be the first Saturday challenge and our theme will be summertime.

So I'll see ya then.
