Let it Snow

Happy Chilly Tuesday!

It super cold where I am in North Texas.  I spent yesterday at my computer hugging my heater and I think my heater and I will be one again today.

Today's card looks complex, but really it is super simple to make. It is also the first card I put together as a design team member at Gel-a-tins Stamps.

I embossed the Mini Fancy Flakes and the Mini Retro Flakes onto white cardstock and then added a bit of blue chalk to highlight them.

Next I stamped and paper pieced the house from the Gingerbread House set. I had a few areas left to color in with my Copic markers. Using the same set, I embossed the green cardstock trees in white and then added some bling to complete my scene.

And don't forget the border around the house made with red Gelly Gem Roll Ups! My final addition was the embossed banner. Let it Snow!!

I hope you liked today's card.  I'll have another fun project to share with you tomorrow.

See you soon.

  1. Hi Susie:

    Adorable card. Love the snowflakes.

Oh, I wish it would snow! I'm just down the road from you here in Texas and I am LOVING the cold weather we are getting right now! It's such a nice change from the triple-digit temps we suffer from all Summer (and most of Fall!). It's really putting me in the Christmas mood.

Hope you have a happy holiday!
