So here we go!

Today is my first time to post as a designer over at Silhouette Challenges.  We are a group dedicated to all things Silhouette.  As you know, I have a personal love affair with my Cameo.

My project today is one I did for the end of the year party at my grandson's preschool.  Their theme was a Hawaiian luau so of course sand buckets with shovels were the perfect "goodie bags" for their take home treasures.

You can see below a screen shot of my print and cut files.  I filled each shape with a fill design that was either in the software or (in the case of the tags) one I purchased.

One trick I have learned is once I fill the shape, I make the cut line just a bit smaller using the internal offset tool.  That way if there is any discrepancy between printing and cutting, my shape is always perfectly filled.  There is always just the tiniest bit of fill pattern outside the cut lines and it works every time!

I hope you like my little project today.  And if you enjoy working with the Silhouette, I encourage you to join us over at Silhouette Challenges.  We always have something fun going on for you.  Oh - and did I mention that you can win prizes if you link up a project for a challenge?  YUP!  You sure can.  So check it out and give it a try.

See you tomorrow!

Extra big hugs,

Susie

PS:  These are the files I used (all available at the Silhouette Online Store):

Clothesline Swim Suits
Swim Trunks
Scalloped Tag
Nested Ovals
Beach Hut Pattern
