Things are Blooming & Growing

Hello Saturday Friends,

Do you ever think one layer cards are boring?  Well, they don't have to be!

Truth be told, this is a two layer card because before I did anything at all, I adhered the Carta Bella Traditions paper to the front of my card base...but after that, I treated it as one layer.

I used a round Spellbinders die to cut a hole in the front of the card and then stamped my sentiment on the inside of the card.  The stamp set I used is from the Ali Edwards Beauty of Spring set.

At that point, I just added my embellishments to finish off the card.

Give this technique a try and I think you will like it.
