Happy Friday!

I've got fun card for you feature the Floral Vase die from Die-namites Dies.

I hand cut some layering pieces from the new Doodlebug Designs Stars & Stripes 6x6 paper pad.  I love to grab two or three (or four) papers from a collection and just start layering.  It is a great way to frame a beautiful and simple focal point like I have here. 

I used my die to cut some shiny red vinyl.  Once I added it to my white background, I used some markers to fill in the flower and then covered all the colored in areas with glitter glue.

I added a quick stamped sentiment and acrylic flower and then matted everything on red card stock.  My final step was to add it to a white heavyweight card base.
