You're Special - Guest Designing for Top Dog Dies

Happy Tuesday!

I am so very excited to be a guest designer today for Top Dog Dies.  Do you know about this wonderful company?

Top Dog Dies is a new online store that offers their own brand of wafer-thin and steel-rule dies, along with dies from brands you already know and trust, including My Favorite Things, Lawn Fawn, Taylored Expressions. Savvy Stamps and Cheery Lynn Designs. Top Dog Dies is also the leading U.S. retailer for Tattered Lace, a new line of intricate dies designed by British designer Stephanie Weightman.

Now that you know a little about the company, let me share what they have for just for YOU!  That's right! A giveaway.  Click on the picture right below and enter for your chance to win $50 worth of exclusive dies (your choice) from Top Dog Dies.  You have until May 31st to enter - but go ahead and do it right now!!!

I have three projects to share with you today.  The one at the very top of the page will be going in the mail to a sweet friend of mine.  And I have a tutorial for you on the Top Dog Dies Blog today.  So if you like it, you can see exactly how to make it.

The die set I used is called Sew Much Fun and here is a look at it:

I was so inspired by this adorable set, I decided to use it again to make a tag which will be going on a birthday gift very soon.  It was super easy to make and I even die cut the needle to go through one of the thread-filled cards. Here is a look:

My final project for you today is this mixed media canvas I made using the Ornate Gate Die.  I cut it twice out of gold glitter paper.  I sliced one of the die cuts in half and used a half on either side of the full gate.  Once I had the gate in place it was easy to finish up my design.  I loved adding the bling, flowers and sentiment to my canvas.  And I just adore my sparkly golden gate!

I hope you have enjoyed my projects today.  Be sure to click over to the Top Dog Dies Blog for my tutorial and don't miss your chance to win some beautiful dies too!  I'll be using some more dies from Top Dog Dies all through May - so be sure to stop back often to see what I've created!

See you tomorrow.

Susie
