Color Throwdown #406 - Hello Friend

Happy Thursday!

Here is my card for the current  Color Throwdown challenge.  I die cut my pineapple onto white card stock and then colored in both the fruit and the "headdress".  You can barely see the original headdress because I added to it with some additional die cut ferns colored in hues of green and pink. I used Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pens to create the pretty blended colors.

I chose some hemp twine to add in just a little more of the natural feel to the card.
I wasn't sure at first if I even liked my pineapple, but now I am convinced that it is indeed pretty cool.

Here is the inspiration photo:

You  have plenty of time to join in the fun because this is just the second day of the challenge!   You can click right here for the link to participate.  The designers have created some amazing projects, so be sure to take a look.

See you tomorrow!
