Your Dual Embossing Powder Questions Answered - Give Thanks

Happy Friday!

Were you able to attend the release party for the brand new StampTV kit last night?  Gina has named it Painted Autumn.  Take a look at what is in this kit:

During the release party some people asked how I combined the silver and gold embossing powders on today's card.  It is so easy!

You ink up your whole design with VersaMark ink.  Stamp the image onto your background paper.  Then sprinkle on either gold or silver embossing powder over part of the stamped image.  Tap off the excess avoiding the areas where there is no powder yet.  Then sprinkle on the other embossing powder color.  It will only adhere to the area that doesn't already have powder on it.  Tap off the excess from this application.  All that's left to do is to heat emboss your image.  Voila - gold AND silver!

You can use any brand of embossing powders for this technique, but I prefer the ones sold by Gina K. Designs!  They heat quickly and evenly and that's what it's all about for me.

Please let me know if you have questions.  I'm happy to reply!

See you tomorrow!

Susie
