Color Throwdown #442 - Happy Mother's Day


Hello Friday Friends!

Here is my card for this week's Color Throwdown challenge.  And here is the inspiration photo: 


I don't usually use muted colors like these, so I really had to stretch this time.  But I did find myself being a bit creative in applying color.  I grabbed my Halftone Circles stamp set from Altenew and started stamping the ink onto the flowers.  Immediately I loved it.  The only coloring I did was on the leaves and stems where I used two Copic markers.

  2. I love how you used the half tone circles on this. I know something cool had been done to those flowers and never thought of using these!! GREAT design!
