Big Hugs

Hello Friday Friends!

Welcome to my experimentation with Deco Foil Transfer Gel.  I have actually tried this before, but I thought I would give it another go.

I painted on the gel through a distressed striped stencil.  It goes on white, but the trick is to wait until it turns totally clear.  Once that happened, I grabbed some Gold Deco Foil, laid it over the design and ran it through my laminator.

Maybe I should have used a stencil with less distressing on it.  I'm not sure.  But I decided to use it anyway because I had this BIG HUGS die cut that I had been wanting to use.

To tie everything together, I placed a gold confetti sequin over each white dot on my card base.  I'm not sure this is a favorite...but I still plan to send it to someone who needs a big hug!
