Color Throwdown #485 - Wishing You a Happy Day

Happy Wednesday!

Here is my card for this week's Color Throwdown challenge. Isn't this inspiration photo just the best?  I love anything black and white!  But throw in a little bit of peachy-pink and I'm totally smitten!

I used the crazy popular Gina K. Designs Wreath Builder Mini Kit to make my focal image.  Instead of a wreath, the circles made more of a kaleidoscope image!  I colored the center with Copic markers and right at the end decided to add a pop of green like in the inspiration photo.

You can click right here for the link to participate if you would like to join in the fun at Color Throwdown. This is just the first day, so you have lots of time to play along!

See you again tomorrow!

  1. Hi Susie. I totally LOVE this card. I have the Wreath Builder stamp and have been trying to copy this. I'm having trouble getting my circles to look as great as these. What are the dimensions of the paper and did you use the Stencil, or just eyeball the circles? Sometimes the clean looking cards are the most elegant. Thanks, Natalie

    1. Hi Natalie. I used the stencil and 4x4 paper. Round and round I went using Versafine Onyx Black ink. I heat embossed it next. Then I cut it out and adhered it to my card. I bet you can make an even prettier one! I would love to see it.
