Gina K. Designs July 2019 Card Kit and Illustrator Blog Hop - Day 2

Happy Thursday!

Welcome back for the second day of our Gina K. Designs July Release Blog Hop. If you didn't catch us yesterday, be sure to go back because you will want to stop by each blog both days and leave a comment. Gina will choose a person from each day's comments and he/she will win a $50 gift card to the Gina K. online store. $50 in stamping goodness!!

My first three cards use the brand new Gina K. Designs Card Kit called Pop Art Flowers. You could make cards for days with this kit!

The first card (above) is made with the Wrapped in Love set from the set. I also used the Sassy Stripes stencil. I cut a mask of the stamped floral image and then added ink to the stencil. When I peel away the mask it left the perfect area for me to stamp the image.

Next up I used images from the Electro Pop Flowers set. I went very basic on this one with no masking. I thought it gave sort of a 60s vibe.

For my third card I used images from the Pop Art Flowers stamp and die set. Before I even had a plan, I stamped and cut tons of the images from the set. I used the included layering guide to help me get the shading correct. Then I started arranging and decided to make a floral wreath. I hope you like how it came together.

The final set I used in this new release was the Main Squeeze stamp and die set illustrated by Hannah Schroepfer. I have never met a fruit set I didn't love and this one was no exception! I decided to create a kiwi card to showcase this set. I used the Sassy Stripes stencil as well, but kept the lines horizontal this time.

You most likely landed here from Rema's so very creative blog and now I am sending you on to see what Karen Hightower has up her talented sleeve for you. If you need to go back to the beginning, Gina K. has the full list on her blog.

  53. I did not see how to make the kiwi until I seen this. Oh how I wish there was a layering guide to download to show how to use all the fdifferent prices to make different fruits. You know how people use punches to make characters. I am always horrible at that. So guides help me so much. Thanks for teaching me
    The kiwi.
