Color Throwdown Challenge #608 - Orange You Cute!

Happy Wednesday!

Here is my card for this week's Color Throwdown challenge. My card is based on this fun inspiration photo which includes orange, pink, yellow and peach:

I'm not sure if you have seen the new Mini Slim products that Taylored Expressions is offering, but it is a super cute size - 3.5 x 6 when folded. I was "late to the party" and wasn't able to get the Petite Scallop Mini Slim Stacklets dies or the Stitched Mini Slim Stacklets dies as they were all sold out. But I will be ordering them the moment they are back in stock. In the meantime, I still wanted to make a card in this fun new size, so I cut a stitched panel and a scalloped panel using my Scan n Cut.

I created the panel using Concord and 9th inks over an Altenew stencil. Then I added my little Catherine Pooler stamped and die cut orange with a scalloped square die cut behind it. And because I wanted this to be a welcome baby card, I used one of the Simple Sentiments strips to add, 'Welcome Little One". I adhered everything to a card base made with Concord and 9th's card stock and then added a few sequins. I have linked below the products I used to make today's card.

You can join in the fun at Color Throwdown too if you would like! This is just the first day, so you have plenty of time to play along. You will find the rules and the link to add your creation at the Color Throwdown website.

See you again tomorrow!

Susie
