It's Your Birthday!

Happy Tuesday!

I wanted to try something different with the Scribbled Rose Cling and Clear background stamp. I gold heat embossed it and then used Distress Inks to make faux watercolor flowers and leaves.

I inked up each of the flower stamps with two shades of Distress Inks each and then spritzed the stamp with some water before stamping. Each flower turned out so soft and pretty! I only used one green color on the leaves, but I also used the faux watercolor technique on them.

I got a little bit excited about the soft colors, so I painted the same watered down colors onto water color card stock and then stamped and embossed the Birthday Simple Strips onto the panel once it dried. Then I used the coordinating die to cut out all my sentiments. I have plenty left over for future cards too!

Have a wonderful day and I'll see you again tomorrow! Oh - and I linked everything below just in case you feel like shopping!
