I am head over heals for the new Taylored Expressions Fall Foliage Stamp and Stencil Combo. It is one super quick way to make lots of backgrounds.
The first step is to use the stamp to create a background of stems and dots. Then apply ink over each of the three stencils to form the leaves. There are so many possibilities with this set.
I used Bristol paper to very lightly ink blend my background with Pineapple, Cupcake, Candy Corn, and Lollipop inks and then stamped the stems with Oreo ink. My next step was a bit of an experiment that actually worked! I stenciled all of the leaves using Toffee ink. Not every background color accepted the ink the same way, so some of the leaves have a greyish-green tint and some a brown tint. I love when my experiments work out!
To finish my card I cut a circle into the background. Then I cut the negative circle just a bit smaller. I inlaid the smaller circle into the cut out background. I added the Simple Strip and some Clear Drip Drops and a few sequins to finish my autumn friendship card.
I hope you have a great day and I'll see you again tomorrow!

Happy Monday!
Today I am sending my card over to the Altenew September Inspiration Challenge. I think red, green and black are such beautiful colors together!
Happy Sunday!
I made a fun card today using two completely different color palettes and adding them together. I used the third ink color in each color family for the background, and the first ink color in each color family for the focal point. I love the look when putting them together! I added the banner as an afterthought and it made it all come together!
I am sending this card over to Pinkfresh Studio for their September challenge which is based on this color palette with an emphasis on rainbows.

Happy Friday!
How about some frosty limes for you today?
I wanted to spice up the background on this card, so I used a Darice embossing folder to get the lime impressions. Then I blended ink onto the raised areas followed by a bit of glue and glitter. I love how it turned out!
My focal image is from Catherine Pooler. I had a bunch of left over limes from another project and decided today was the day to use them all.
I hope you have a wonderful day. I'll be back tomorrow and I'll see you then.

Happy Thursday!
Rainbows are just so much fun! And today I've added a new twist - felt. This Taylored Expressions felt is so easy to adhere with a few drops of wet glue. I wanted mine to be bright and cheerful, so I chose some of my favorite colors.
I stenciled my background before adding the felt. Then I added two clouds on the left and this sweet sparrow on the right. To finish my card I added the sentiment, a felt heart and some clear Drip Drops.
I hope this card encourages you today. God IS in control and does bless us in so many ways!
I'll be back tomorrow, so I'll see you then.

I wanted to do something different with the new Taylored Expressions Balloon Bouquet set today. I broke out my Bristol paper and cut out a bunch of 2" squares. They were my mini canvases. Using TE Watercolors I was able to paint each square and blend colors together just by adding different amounts of water to each puddle of watercolor. I painted more than I needed in case some didn't turn out and that did happen.
Once my canvases were dry, I die cut the balloons and also the banner which I water colored as well. I heat embossed the balloon strings in silver onto my Oreo card stock panel.
I finished up my design with a few sequins and a white card base. AND I have extra balloons for another project!

It's no secret that slimline cards are all the rage right now. So it's no surprise I wanted to share with you one I made using the Slimline Floral Stencil and an older image that I adore. The girl with the camera is Beautiful Girl Karen. I loved coloring her with Copic markers. They are my most used media.First I ink blended my background with a rainbow of bright colors. I used Distress Oxides this time. Then I laid the stencil over the ink blending and used Picket Fence Studios Black Hybrid Ink over the stencil. I wanted the black to be VERY dark, so I added a second coat. I let this background dry overnight as the Oxides need that time. The next day I came back and added my image and my sentiment. Oh - and I ink blended a little bit behind Karen.
So that's it for me today. I had a blast creating today's card and I hope you feel inspired to try it. You can see these products and so much more by visiting Picket Fence Studios today. I have linked the products I used below in case you are in a shopping mood!
See you tomorrow!

Happy Saturday!
These three make me smile. Aren't they adorable together?
I stamped my image directly onto my card stock and colored these cuties with Copic markers. They were very easy to color because so much detail is already baked into this Picket Fence Studios stamp. And now there are dies to match this image! Score for sure.
Have a wonderful day and I'll see you again tomorrow!

Happy Friday!
This is Halloween card four of five for this year. I love sending cards for all the holidays - big and small - to my grandchildren. Five families, five cards.
This one will go to a family with both boys and girls. It's not too masculine or feminine. Just right I think! I chose Copic colors that exuded Halloween. Even my rainbows are colored with Copic markers!
All of of my products are from Taylored Expressions and are listed below in case you want to take a look. I'll be back tomorrow and I'll see you then.

I am sending my card over the the Color Hues The Color Challenge blog today for their newest challenge which is to use navy and turquoise.
I used Turquoise Sea, In the Navy and Layering Weight White card stocks from Gina K. Designs. These papers die cut beautifully and since my entire card is focused on die cutting, it seemed like a good choice!
I used the Geometric Builder Circles dies and the Geometric Builder Squares dies from Simon Says Stamp to make all my cute circles that were then adhered to one square each.
My sentiment is from the Big World stamp set from Altenew. I heat embossed it in white and then popped it up with foam tape. It did take a while to die cut and adhere all the circle pieces, but it turned out great, so I'm ok with that.
I'll be back tomorrow and I'll see you then!

Happy Tuesday!
Working on more Halloween cards? This is really a first for me to get holiday cards done so quickly. I always send cards to the families of our five children. This card is my second and I even have my third one done! I'll share it later in the week.
All of my products are from Taylored Expressions. I used the mini slim size which is fast becoming a favorite. I cut strips from the Rainbow Brights paper pad for my background and heat embossed the sentiment so it would show up well. My oval scene is colored with Copic markers. Look at those not so spooky spiders! The set I used for all my coloring is called Spooktacular and I love the images. So much fun for Halloween!
I hope you have a wonderful day. I'll be back tomorrow and I'll see you then.
