I'm Always Here for You

Happy Tuesday!

I am head over heals for the new Taylored Expressions Fall Foliage Stamp and Stencil Combo. It is one super quick way to make lots of backgrounds.

The first step is to use the stamp to create a background of stems and dots. Then apply ink over each of the three stencils to form the leaves. There are so many possibilities with this set.

I used Bristol paper to very lightly ink blend my background with Pineapple, Cupcake, Candy Corn, and Lollipop inks and then stamped the stems with Oreo ink.  My next step was a bit of an experiment that actually worked! I stenciled all of the leaves using Toffee ink. Not every background color accepted the ink the same way, so some of the leaves have a greyish-green tint and some a brown tint. I love when my experiments work out!

To finish my card I cut a circle into the background. Then I cut the negative circle just a bit smaller. I inlaid the smaller circle into the cut out background. I added the Simple Strip and some Clear Drip Drops and a few sequins to finish my autumn friendship card.

I hope you have a great day and I'll see you again tomorrow!
