You're my Style

Happy Tuesday!

I wanted to share this cute card with you to show you that dies can be used in some unique ways you may not have discovered yet.

Where is the die you ask?  Well, that dress form is a Tim Holtz die.  It is called "Sewing Room" While watching TV last night, I covered the chipboard die cut with paper flowers securing each with a tiny pink brad.

I used Black Stickles on the top and bottom of the dress form to complete it.  I was inspired by a challenge on the Stamp TV blog to use flowers in a fun way.  Turns out I kinda like it too.

The papers, ribbon and stamped image are all from Gina K Designs.  I did run the cardstock through an embossing folder and added dots of platinum Stickles to a few of the embossed flowers.

I will make a separate entry tonight to announce the winner of my little contest.  Good luck everyone.

And tomorrow be sure to come back.  Do you know Lisa Pace?  Well, I've been so inspired by her and I want to show you a card I made Lisa-style.
