It's That Flip Flop Time of Year

At least that's what this mini-book says.

The base for this little mini album was one of those wooden plaques that Michaels always seems to have.  I covered it with a digital paper and then screwed some cup hooks in to hold the little album.  So where do die cuts come in you ask?

The little album itself is cut using the largest Long Rectangles Scalloped Die from Spellbinders.  Just like yesterday's post - I covered each page front and back with digital papers.  Then I added stamps, flowers, sand, ribbon, and anything else I could find.  I even die cut some of the pages from clear acrylic.

You could use this idea for any story you want to tell.  I used mine to tell the story of a day my hubby and I spent in Seattle after our Alaskan cruise.  All of our friends had already boarded the plane to go back home - but we stayed an extra day.  And as always, we found a secret part of the world and just enjoyed it together.

Don't be limited by pre-made albums.  Make your own from items you happen upon while you are actually looking for something else.  It will make it more fun and certainly more unique!

But most of all, you have a story to tell so be sure to tell it.

See you back here tomorrow.  I'll be sharing some FLOWER power with you!

Susie
