It's the first Saturday in May, and that means the Stampendous team is starting a new monthly challenge for you. This month we are challenging ourselves (and you) to make a gift set, a gift card holder or a gift. The possibilities are endless!
Here is what I made for you today:
Stampendous Vintage Crowns SSC1119
Stampendous Calligraphy Alphabet SSC015-R
Stampendous Aged Gold Embossing Enamel
Prima Almanac 6x6 paper pad
My Favorite Things Die-namics Dies
Versamark Ink
My top fold card is standard size and dressed up on the inside and out. I used a corner rounder for this one. I used dies to cut the sentiment block on the front. And of course the sentiment stamp is from Stampendous. The butterflies on the card are just cut from a piece of the patterned paper and then dressed up with a bit of glitter.
The inside has a pocket for the gift card. I stamped the crown with Versamark and then heat embossed it. I wish the photo gave you a better idea of how raised the image is. I added one more butterfly and then called it a day.
Now I am ready for the next gift card-giving occasion. I hope you will be inspired to make something for our challenge this week. And we'll be back every Saturday in May so you can see what we are doing!
So be sure to check out what my teammates have created for the challenge today!
And we want YOU to play along with us! Simply make a gift, a gift set, or a gift card holder of some sort and add the direct link for your project to our collection at the end of this post (or on the Stampendous blog) no later than Thursday, May 31 at 11:59 PM EST.
You do not have to use Stampendous products, but we sure love it when you do! As an extra incentive for playing along, one lucky crafter (drawn at random) will receive this fabulous new Cling Jumbo Tropical Garden stamp set:
Take care and I'll see you tomorrow.
