Friday Friday - it's Friday!

I stamped this precious Lori Boyd digital image and colored her in not really knowing what I would do with her.  I was just enjoying the therapy of coloring. I also added some glitter to her little floral hair wreath.

But then I got an idea.  I have a friend who is feeling a bit stressed over things.  Who can't identify with that?  So I decided to make a little coaster art piece for her and maybe it will make her smile for a moment.

I covered the coaster (front and back) with some papers from Crate Paper Pretty Party and also from the Dear Lizzy Neapolitan collection and then took some white paint and lightly dry brushed the edges to soften the papers.

I cut the image and mat using Spellbinders dies.  The SMILE embellishment was just cut from a piece of paper in the Dear Lizzy collection.  Easy peasy!

Finishing up this piece was a snap.  I grabbed three flowers from the Prima Fairy Belle collection and glittered them a bit with Diamond Stickles.  Then I just added a Prima leaf, a pretty pearl and a seam binding hanger.

I know my friend will like this piece and I hope you do too.
