Happy Monday.

I wanted to show you my husband's Father's Day card.  He loves to cook for me - so I thought he would enjoy seeing what I would look like if I cooked for him.  Yes - this is what I would look like.

This is a very simple card - one I made with my friend yesterday.  She made one too and it turned out really well.  She is a pro already!

I used a long rectangle and a the corresponding long rectangle scalloped die.  One trick I like to do is to cut a chipboard piece the same size as my focal image and place it behind the mat.  I like having the image lift up a bit - but still be stuck to the card securely.

I have one more card to show you from our crafting time together.  And I will share it with you tomorrow - along with a fun technique that Jalayne and I tried during "class".
